Ending the "What does PFX stand for" posts....

From: Steve and Heidi (stephenholyfield@sbcglobal.net) | Date: 2003-08-06 18:56:18 UTC
I've seen this question asked and answered by multiple folks on
numerous occasions recently. I realize that at the early stages of
your LB'ing career, every new boxer will ask that. Can we attempt to
reply to the specific person in an effort to streamline the list???
Its getting a bit old to have the same thing re:re:re:re: and such...

I would have to cite this as a perfect example and concurrent with
Alafair's well-worded post.

Also: As far as the back and forth jars and jeers between certain
members this week -- you can certainly keep that off list and make it
into an email between the handful of people involved.

We too agree that some things are discussed a bit much and have found
some impressive mystery boxes recently -- which have been mentioned
in name only -- and have not included a location or any of the other
35 boxes we found in the past week. Hopefully that may serve as a
good example??

Instead of everyone responding though these posts, why don't we set up this mailing list like other that I am on and have a weekly or monthly or whatever timeframe auto message put out with a few major FAQ's on it, such as what those silly numbers after everyone's signatures means, etc, etc, etc. We could also have it in the welcome letter, however, it's been my experience that most don't even read those letters in full. That's what we do elsewhere.
